The draws will be conducted by former Liverpool defender and 1995 EFL Cup winner Phil Babb live on Sky Sports at about 2pm on Sunday 6th September following Brentford’s first round tie against Wycombe Wanderers.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will be one of 13 Premier League clubs not competing in UEFA competitions, as well as Watford and AFC Bournemouth, who will enter at this stage of the competition, with the draw numbers being announced following the first round results on Saturday.
Wolves’ Carabao Cup second round match will take place in the week between their first two Premier League ties against Sheffield United and Manchester City.
Clubs will also find out who they potentially face in the following round, with draw for the third round taking place straight after the second round selections. Both draws are unseeded, with the third round draw also including the seven Premier League clubs competing in UEFA competitions.
