Buur signs new Wolves deal

Young Wolves wing-back Oskar Buur has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract at Molineux.

Last week Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed the 21-year-old is now a permanent member of his first-team squad and the Dane has been rewarded with a new deal until the summer of 2023.

Buur joined Wolves in 2017 from Brabrand IF and has developed each year as part of the under-23 set up, under the guidance of Scott Sellars and Rob Edwards.

In April 2018, Buur introduced himself to Molineux with a crucial equaliser against Hull City on his league debut, with Wolves well on their way to the Premier League.

The youngster has been a continued presence in and around the first-team since and this season registered an assist for Diogo Jota against Besiktas in the Europa League.

The Denmark under-19 international most recently appeared against Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup and was on the bench for Wolves’ Europa League clash with RCD Espanyol on Thursday.
