Jimenez: We have to dream of cup glory

Raul Jimenez is dreaming of FA Cup glory with Wolves following the fifth-round victory over Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

Ivan Cavaleiro’s first half finish was enough to seal Wolves’ passage through to the quarter finals for the first time since 2003.

Although Jimenez knows his teammates have to wait to see who they will play in the last eight of the competition, he admits he is already thinking of Wembley.

On possible cup glory

“Well we have to dream. We know that it is difficult, but we have to wait now to see which team we are going to be against, but we have to dream.

“It is difficult, but if we keep doing the same things we are doing now, we can make it.

“It’s very good for us because this is what we wanted in the beginning. We are now in the next round so we are very happy too and I’m proud of all my teammates.”

On overcoming the Robins

“It is very difficult because we know they are in the Championship but they have a good run of wins, so that made them difficult.

“But we knew how to create a danger for them and now with this win we are very happy and in the next round.

“It’s like this is the FA Cup matches, we knew that we had to score a goal and then have the management of the game.

“The first half was very good, the second half they caused us a little bit more of a problem, but we knew how to improve and maintain our clean sheet.”

On working hard as a group

“All of us know what we have to do. All of us is like the pack. We all do the same things, we all want to win all of the matches and that what characterises us.”
