Raul Jimenez’s strike in the second-half proved enough for all three points against the Clarets but the margin of victory could have been greater.
However, it mattered not, as Wolves chalked up back-to-back victories as well as clean sheets, leaving Nuno delighted with the performance.
“Creating chances is difficult, but we produced a lot,” he said. “We always have to improve. We’re going to work together to find the final touch. Talent exists, organisation we work on.
“We scored one and that’s the most important. After we scored there was more space. The hard part of the game is to produce, to stay organised. And it’s two times we’ve kept a clean sheet.
“The most important part is the way we played, how we controlled the game. It was a good game, no doubt about it.”
Burnley were competing in the Europa League just last month so Nuno was delighted with his side’s application against a solid team.
“Burnley are a tough team. We should be more clinical, but to produce the chances we did against Burnley makes me very proud.
“We deserved to win against a good team. They are tough to break down, they stay narrow and organised, like they did last season.
“We are dealing with the reality. We’ve come from the Championship, we won a tough competition, and it’s given us enough to come here and compete.
“We had a great atmosphere at Molineux. Our first task is to make our fans happy so let’s enjoy it. 30,416 that were here today didn’t leave a moment of silence. That was unbelievable.”
