It's The Swans For Wolves

Wolves have been drawn at home to Premier League side Swansea City in the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The two teams, who last met in the memorable 4-4 draw at Swansea back in the top flight in April, 2012, have met twice before in the competition, both also in the Third Round, albeit a very long time ago.

Wolves won 4-0 away from home in January, 1938, goals coming courtesy of a Dennis Westcott hat trick and Bryn Jones.

And there were also plenty of goals in January, 1957, when Wolves won 5-3 at Molineux.  Goals on that occasion came from Joseph Bonson (2), Peter Broadbent, Ron Flowers and Jimmy Mullen.

The tie will be played on a date between January 5-8.

Ticket details will be announced when confirmed.
