That is the view of Wolves Head Coach Nuno Espírito Santo as the team prepare to welcome in-form Bolton this afternoon (3pm).
Wolves have won four Sky Bet Championship games in succession, scoring ten goals and conceding just one, but Bolton have improved from some early season difficulties and are unbeaten in seven.
And that is why Nuno knows Wolves need to be on tbeir game, and backed by another sizeable home crowd, if they are to continue the recent run.
“Games are very hard in this competition,” he says.
“We treat all our opponents exactly the same way, in the same way that we are not looking at the league table.
“Bolton are unbeaten for the last seven games which says a lot about their team and the difficulties we will face – we must be ready for it.
“They have been growing and getting better, and we know what we will face.
“It is up to us to go beyond those difficulties and believe in the things that we do.
“Where we are now doesn’t mean anything, we still have a long way to go.
“What is more important is what we do against Bolton and then what we do tomorrow, and the day after that.
“It is about working hard and these boys do that as a squad.
“It is up to us to be focused every moment on everything that we do.
“And the fans have been getting right behind us and we are very thankful for that.
“Away from home, and at Molineux, they are always supporting the team.
“I say that together we are stronger, and we are showing that.
“We are at Molineux, it is our fans behind the team, and there is no better place to be and to play well.”
Places in the Wolves starting eleven, and indeed the matchday 18, have been at a premium with the recent run of form, but Nuno has paid tribute to all of the squad who will have a part to play in the coming months.
“All of the players have been doing well in how they are working, their distances, the high intensity runs,” the Head Coach explains.
“They are giving good answers to any questions and that is because they are working hard every day.
“All of the players, whether they are playing or not, are working hard and waiting for their chance.
“There is no secret – it is about the way we train, the way we work, and it is credit to the players for the way they prepare themselves and take care of themselves.
“The things the players do during the training sessions are exactly what they do in competition – everyone does the same whether they are in the squad are not.
“And they know it is important to do that, when their team mate in front of them is performing well.
“It increases the rivalry of the training sessions, competing for places, and the way all the players present themselves in competition.”
Nuno can select from the same squad as in midweek with no new injury worries ahead of Bolton’s visit.
