Goals from Diogo Jota, Romain Saiss, Ruben Vinagre and Leo Bonatini fired Wolves to a dominant victory against Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium this afternoon.

There were only five minutes on the clock when Wolves took the lead.

Ivan Cavaleiro sent Jota through and he composed himself before making no mistake with the low finish.

And then, six minutes later, Stephen Bywater was unable to hold Ruben Neves’ free kick and Saiss was on hand to prod home the rebound.

Burton tried to mount a response and Jamie Allen brought a fine save out of John Ruddy but Wolves added a third shortly before the break as Vinagre produced a fine finish.

The fourth goal arrived from an excellent move in the 62nd minute as Cavaleiro and Matt Doherty linked up superbly before Bonatini lashed home.
