Bonatini Checks In!

Wolves are delighted to have completed a deal to bring striker Leo Bonatini to Molineux on a season-long loan.

The 23-year-old Brazilian frontman, who came through the ranks with Cruzeiro in his home country, makes the temporary switch from successful Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.

Whilst at Cruzeiro, Bonatini had loan spells with Goias in Brazil, and also Juventus, where he spent time with the Italian giant’s youth set-up.

A loan spell in the Portuguese League with Estoril in the 2014/15 season saw Bonatini’s career take off, and lead to a permanent move to the top flight club.

All in all he scored 24 goals in 53 appearances for Estoril, before making the switch to Al-Hilal.

Last season he netted 15 goals in 33 appearances as Al Hilal became the Saudi Arabian champions and also the Kings Cup of Champions winners.

Bonatini was capped by Brazil at Under-17 level, scoring twice in the Under-17 World Cup Finals in 2011.
