Dave Edwards and Lee Evans have been named in the senior Welsh squad for Sunday’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Serbia in Belgrade.
Both players have made the final 23-man squad having been involved in a training camp in Portugal last week.
Edwards will be looking to add to his 38 senior international caps but for Evans, a regular at Under-21 level, will be aiming for his first appearance in a matchday squad.
Back in 2014, he was named in the senior squad for a European Championships qualifier with Bosnia-Hercegovina, only to have to withdraw through injury.
He was back in the squad which travelled to Belgium a month later, but didn’t make the matchday 23 and watched the goalless draw from the stands.
