Paul Lambert is expecting a tough tie in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup – whoever Wolves end up facing.
Lambert’s side will travel to either Plymouth or Liverpool over the last weekend of January, those two facing a replay next Wednesday after a goalless draw on Sunday.
With the replay set for Home Park, Lambert will wait and see who comes through before assessing the different challenges the tie could provide.
"Everybody's assuming Liverpool will go through, but football never works like that,” he says.
"The main thing for us is that we're through.
“Ninety per cent of people probably want the Liverpool tie to happen because of the stature of their club and the history behind it and the stadium they've got.
"But whoever we get it'll be tough.
"If it's Liverpool it's a glamour tie and a huge tie for us, with everything that surrounds it.
"If it's Plymouth it's a great game to go down there and it'd be a role reversal as the expectancy would be on us.
"We'll have to wait and see what happens next Wednesday."
