Wolves have been drawn at home to Cambridge United in the second round of the EFL Cup.
The last time the two sides met was in the third round of the FA Cup back in 2008, when Cambridge, now in Sky Bet League Two, were a non-league side.
Wolves needed a second half comeback to overturn a 1-0 half time deficit, Michael Kightly equalising before Neill Collins notched the winner two minutes from time.
Wolves reached the second round courtesy of last night’s 2-1 victory at home to Crawley, while Cambridge, managed by Shaun Derry, produced an upset to defeat Sheffield Wednesday by the same scoreline.
The fixture will be played on the week beginning August 22nd.
The date and ticket details will be announced when they are finalised.
