Wolves Foundation are delighted to announce that Joao Gomes and Louanne Worsey have been named as PFA Community Champions.
The Brazilian midfielder from the men’s first-team and the Wolves Women forward have picked up the awards to mark their exceptional commitment to the Foundation’s work across the local community.
“The support we receive from our senior and Academy players is so important in helping to raise awareness of the Foundation’s huge variety of projects, and also delivering such fantastic experiences for our participants,” says the Foundation’s general manager Tom Warren.
“We are fortunate that we have such a supportive Player Care team, and players who are always willing to engage, of whom Joao and Louanne have been the standouts across the last season.
“Joao has always been a regular visitor to various Foundation activities, but the last season has been particularly special because of his close connection with our Wolf Words project.
