Vote | Castore Player of the Month – October

Voting is now open for the latest Castore Player of the Month award with five Wolves stars on the shortlist for their performances throughout October 2021.

Conor Coady, Hee Chan Hwang, Maximilian Kilman, Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves are all in contention to pick up the award after a stand-out month in old gold.

Wolves had an exceptional month on the pitch, going unbeaten in their three Premier League matches. Bruno Lage’s men were able to pick up their first top-flight victory at Molineux this campaign against Newcastle United, before following it up with the come from behind win on the road at Aston Villa. October’s fixtures ended last weekend in the 1-1 draw away to Leeds United.

Individually, Coady had a month to remember, having got on the scoresheet at Villa Park to get Wolves back on level terms, as well as adding another England cap top his growing collection.

Having been nominated for September’s award, Hwang is back in the reckoning this month following his brace to secure the three points against Newcastle, as well as opening the scoring at Leeds.

Kilman makes it three nominations from the first three months of the season, continuing his outstanding form at the back, making the most combined tackles, blocks and clearances of those in a gold and black shirt throughout the month.

Having got off the mark in late September, Jimenez became the provider in October, creating three assists – all to Hwang – in his two appearances, having missed out on the visit to Aston Villa.

Back in midfield, Neves had his moment to savour by scoring the dramatic late winner at Villa Park, while having the highest number of touches among his teammates in his two starts.

Voting is now closed.

The winning player will once again receive a custom-made Castore Player of the Month award.
