FPL MD7 | Sa proving popular on FPL

With the international weekend now in the past, attention returns to the Premier League, and for many supporters, FPL.

Last time out…

Hee Chan Hwang (£5.4m) | Goals: 5 | Assists: 0 | Next three: BOU (A), NEW (H), SHU (A)

Hee Chan Hwang struck for the fourth time in fifth matches against Aston Villa, securing his FPL managers 10 points – double the next Wolves player. The South Korean is now on 38 FPL points for the season, second to only Pedro Neto in Old Gold and he and Wolves face two fixtures with fixture difficulty rating of two out of five in the next three weeks, with trips to AFC Bournemouth and Sheffield United.

Pau Torres (£4.5m) | Goals: 1 | Assists: 0 | Next three: WHU (H), LUT (H), NFOR (A)

Equalling Hwang’s total at Molineux a fortnight ago was Villa’s goal scorer Pau Torres. The Spaniard has scooped 31 FPL points this season, but that was his first attacking return. 12 of his points came from Villa’s two clean sheets this season, against Everton and Chelsea. Fellow defenders Matty Cash and Lucas Digne have been selected more than Torres after eight Premier League matches.

This week…

Jose Sa (£5m) | Clean sheets: 1 | Next three: BOU (A), NEW (H), SHU (A)

While Hwang and Pedro Neto have been scooping the attacking FPL points in the Wolves squad, goalkeeper Jose Sa is third in line and, fresh from signing a new contract recently, has been impressed between the sticks. Sa earned save points against both Man City and Villa and a bonus point in the City win. Heading to Bournemouth, he’ll be hoping to add to his previous clean sheet on the road at Everton.

Dominic Solanke (£6.4m) | Goals: 3 | Assists: 1 | Next three: WOL (H), BUR (H), MCI (A)

No player has earned more FPL points than Dominic Solanke this season with 32. Despite the Cherries not winning a game yet, the striker has scored three goals and claimed one assist. The 26-year-old has blanked in the last two but remains a popular cheaper option in the striking department. Wolves and Burnley up next are both rated two out of five on the FPL difficult front.
