Conor Coady scored his first Premier League goal with his first on target shot in the competition to give Wolves hope of earning a positive result against Manchester City on Tuesday night.
The captain, who rarely crosses the half-way line unless it is to join in with goal celebrations, surprised everyone when he popped up in the City penalty area just after the hour mark to guide his headed effort beyond the reach of Ederson.
His goal launched jubilant scenes for old gold supporters across the world, as Coady notched just his third goal for the club, and his second from open play, but Wolves were unable to build on his equaliser.
