Earlier this month ABBA fans descended on Molineux, which played host to ‘An Evening of Abba’.
A series of timeless hits from the Swedish band were belted out by the tribute band to supporters, local residents and visitors, who came together to enjoy an unforgettable night of live entertainment.
Classics including Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo and Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! got the entire crowd going, as Molineux sang long into the night.
The event was Molineux’s first music event since 2019 when Rod Stewart visited the Black Country, while the venue has also hosted major football events including an England men’s first-team match in 2022 and the women’s Continental Cup final two years later.
Molineux provided the ideal venue for the community to come together and enjoy music rather than football on this occasion, right in the heart of Wolverhampton.
The concert was the latest in a series of events held at Molineux over the past year, including an Oktoberfest celebration and 80s rewind in February.
