Nathan Shi has been appointed executive chairman of Wolves on a permanent basis.
Nathan, who has served as interim executive chairman since December, will continue to lead the club’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations as Wolves prepare for a crucial summer and the 2026/27 season.
Nathan reports directly to the Fosun board, and the decision has been taken to provide clarity and consistency at the top of the club at an important moment, following a period in which he has worked closely with staff across all areas of the business, and engaged with supporters, local communities and other stakeholders to better understand the challenges faced and the work required.
Nathan said: “I am honoured to take on this role permanently and fully understand the responsibility it brings, particularly at a time like this for the club.
“Since arriving, I have spent time listening, learning and building a clear picture of where we are and what needs to improve. That work continues and provides a strong foundation for what comes next.
“Our focus now is on strengthening the club, building momentum and creating a team and environment that our supporters can be proud of.”
