In the week the striker made his return to Premier League action, episode two of Wolves Studios’ Sasa Kalajdzic: False Start is now live on club channels.
After a year out with the serious knee injury the documentary is focused around, the Austrian came off the bench for the first time for the closing stages of Monday’s season opener at Manchester United.
The innovative documentary, across three parts, enjoys exclusive access to the striker’s journey, from arriving at Wolves and suffering up the injury, through the operation and recovery process, into his return to full fitness and competitive football.
Episode two, released at 7pm on 16th August, focuses on the support network around the striker. It provides an insight into the support managers, teammates, family and friends give to a recovering Premier League footballer, with the Wolves Studios cameras heading to Vienna to see Kalajdzic recovering with his brother Daniel Kalajdzic, also a professional footballer with Stuttgarter Kickers.
Also, during part two, the mental side of injury recovery is explored, while off the pitch the 26-year-old gets engaged to his now his fiancé Lorena Grabovac and Wolves Studios are given exclusive access to the couple’s new home in Wolverhampton, which includes their dog Kobe.
