Coady in provisional England squad

Conor Coady has been named in the provisional England squad, making him one of seven Wolves men on track for Euro 2020.

The Wolves captain has been included in Gareth Southgate’s provisional 33-man squad, with the final 26 to be confirmed on 1st June.

Should Coady retain his place with the Three Lions, he’ll join six other Wolves teammates at the summer’s championship, covering four different nations.

As many as four Wolves men will represent Portugal this summer, with Rui Patricio, Nelson Semedo, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho all included in Fernando Santos’ squad for the tournament.

On Monday Adama Traore was listed in the final Spain squad, having, like Coady, broken into his national side earlier in the 2020/21 campaign.

Meanwhile, Leander Dendoncker is a mainstay in the Belgium group and will once again be on duty this summer for Roberto Martinez and his country.

Updates on the progress of the Wolves stars in action at Euro 2020 will be provided on the club’s official Twitter channel and wolves.co.uk.
