With the fifth anniversary of Fosun’s takeover this July, the club is marking a successful half-decade by giving fans the opportunity to ask anything they want, and get an answer from the decision makers at Molineux and Compton.
Over the last five seasons it has become customary for the executive chairman to provide a pre or post-season update, sometimes in a video interview and other times in the form of a letter to supporters.
But now, set to be broadcast at the end of the season, Ask Wolves is giving supporters the the opportunity to pose the questions themselves, to be answered by Shi, and the club’s general managers, Scott Sellars, Matt Wild, Russell Jones and Vinny Clark.
Supporters have until Wednesday 12th May to register their queries via bit.ly/AskWolves, with all of them put to the panel and published across a variety of the club’s channels, including video, podcast and on wolves.co.uk.
“This summer marks a special milestone for us, as we celebrate five years of Fosun’s ownership of Wolves,” said Shi. “In that time we have successfully navigated our way out of the Championship as champions, secured back-to-back seventh placed finishes in the Premier League, and enjoyed an unforgettable European run.
“Usually after a season, I sit down to do an interview with a club reporter, newspaper or broadcaster, but the chance to get questions directly from supporters seemed like a great way to communicate on our fifth anniversary, and a good way to make sure fans felt they were able to get their own questions answered and voices heard.
“We would like to invite you to ask us anything you want about Wolves - this season, next season and the future of our club. Each and every sensible question will be put to myself and my team of general managers, and we look forward to providing answers to them next month.”
