Boly earns Cote d'Ivoire call-up

Willy Boly will link up with the Cote d'Ivoire national team for the first time this week.

After a previous call-up in October, Boly was forced to wait for confirmation from the FIFA Players’ Status Committee on his change of association request, which has now been granted.

The defender has been cleared to represent the Elephants in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Madagascar, both home and away, this month.

Boly has previously represented France up to under-19 level, but has now opted to represent the African nation at senior level.

He links up with fellow Premier League players such as Wilfried Zaha, Serge Aurier, Eric Bailly, Nicolas Pepe and Sebastien Haller.
