Raul Jimenez is the focus of the official matchday programme as Wolves host Manchester City in the Premier League.
The Mexican is brilliantly painted by Louise Cobbold on the front cover and is the main feature interview inside.
The programme is available to purchase online here and around Molineux in the build-up to kick-off for £3.50.
Inside, Jimenez discusses the strong bond his home nation has with his club, with snippets of his piece available below, and the full version in Friday’s programme.
“It has the colours of my country (Wolves' green kit) and I really appreciate that. It’s something that I’m very grateful here with Wolves, making that, and I’m proud to wear it now.
“Last time I was in the USA with my national team, playing against USA and Argentina, I saw many Wolves shirts in the stadium and that makes me feel comfortable, knowing that in all the places there are Raul Jimenez supporters and Wolves supporters now. On social media they ask me where to buy Wolves shirts – any, the black, the green, the gold. It’s amazing to see the support all over the world.
“I really like the song (that Wolves fans sing). I enjoy hearing it in every time in the stadium, I’m very grateful to all the supporters. It’s quite long, the first time I heard it I didn’t understand, but then I watched videos on YouTube, and it was easier because some of them are with subtitles, so I found out what they were saying. Now, it’s easy to understand and start singing.”
Jimenez joins the likes of Ruben Neves, Rui Patricio, Joleon Lescott and Michael Kightly inside Friday’s programme, which is available here.
