Supporter information for Torino clash

Wolves’ next stop on their European tour this season is Turin as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side take on Torino in the first leg of the Europa League play-off round.

More than a thousand supporters are expected to make the trip to Italy for the 9pm (8pm UK time) kick-off on Thursday 22nd August at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Visiting Wolves supporters who have bought tickets to the Europa League clash are being reminded that they will need to collect their tickets from NH Hotel Torino Piazza Carlina before kick-off. Supporters must show valid photo ID that bears the name of the ticket owner.

Matchday information

Tickets for the match must be collected from NH Hotel Torino Piazza Carlina, Piazza Carlo Emanuele II, 15, 10123 Torino TO, Italy. Wolves ticket office staff will be in place at the collection point between 10am and 6pm on Thursday 22nd August. A map of the collection point is included in the fan guide, found here.

Supporters will be required to show valid photo ID such as a passport or drivers’ licence when collecting tickets, and the ID must bear the name of the ticket owner. Tickets must be collected individually. Other ID or photocopies will not be accepted.

The Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino is located near the outskirts of Turin city centre, with shuttle busses due to be provided from the city centre to the stadium on the day of the game. All Wolves supporters are advised to use this service which will start from 5.30pm on the Thursday.

The shuttle service for fans will be from the Arcomonumetale all’ Arma Di Artiglieria (artillery monument) Viale Virgalio, by the Ponte Umberto 1 Bridge, that crosses the River Po. This is around 300 metres from Piazza Vittorio Veneto square.

It is advised that the Piazza Vittorio Veneto square is a suitable location for Wolves supporters to gather before kick-off and hosts several bars and restaurants. Piazza Vittorio is a six-minute walk from the ticket collection location.

Shuttle buses will be accompanied by a Police escort and once at the stadium, Wolves fans will be located in a secure segregated compound in the Ostriti area of the ground.
