Worldwide Wolves present Field Of Dreams

Worldwide Wolves present the Field of Dreams on 4th May, as official supporter clubs are given the opportunity to play on the Molineux pitch after Saturday's Fulham fixture.

UK Wolves will take on overseas Wolves in an 11-a-side, bringing in supports from all branches, battle for the Worldwide Wolves Shield.

Applications have been received from far and wide, as far as Australia, South Africa and Qatar, and closer to home in London, Leicester and Telford.

Wolves legend Steve Bull will manage the UK side, while the overseas team, who will have travelled 35,849 miles to be at Molineux, will be led by Mel Eves.

Alan Perrins, head of Worldwide Wolves, said: “We now boast 116 Supporters Clubs around the world and increasing weekly, with supporter clubs based in Australia, Europe, USA and Canada, as well as the UK in abundance.

“This is the chance for the club to say thank you to our supporters club chairmen around the globe, bringing them together for the day and make as many dreams come true as possible.”

After the game chairmen and members will join their friends and family in the WV1 Bar for a celebration of what will have been an enjoyable weekend for all supporters clubs around the world.

There will be awards given out to UK and overseas Supporters Club of the Year, as well as Clubman of the Year voted by their peers for the most outstanding contribution by any given individual.
