A Night At Monmore Green Dog Racing

Current & Former Player support Fans' Disabled Association

This year they moved up market and went to the upstairs restaurant which is much more comfortable for the members, where they can see the whole of the race track or watch the races on the very many TVs.

We had 40 members attend this function which is double that of last year. Apart from the dog racing, there was a three-course meal provided which had a menu to cover all tastes. The feedback from the meal showed 100 percent satisfaction. Not only the racing and food were good, there were many waiters and waitresses serving drinks at our tables, and also other staff taking bets at tables, this was ideal for the members in wheelchairs and the less mobile.

The highlight of the evening for the members was race nine, which was sponsored by a friend of one of the committee under the banner of Wolves Disabled Supporters Association Trophy. The race winner was dog number three, Tonbrie Magic.

This is the type of night for everyone to enjoy and we will certainly be doing this again.
