Wolves have officially been promoted to the Premier League this evening after Fulham failed to beat Brentford.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have occupied top spot in the Championship since October and achieved promotion with four games to spare.
Wolves have accumulated 92 Championship points to date, coming from 28 victories and eight draws, with 76 goals scored in the process.
Fulham’s draw with Brentford means they now trail Wolves by 10 points with only three matches remaining.
This outcome ends a six-year absence from the top flight and this is the third time Wolves have earned promotion from the Championship.
Attention now turns to the Championship title, with Wolves nine points ahead of Cardiff City in second place.
However, with Wolves hosting Birmingham City at Molineux tomorrow, supporters will be afforded a perfect opportunity to celebrate this special moment with Nuno and his squad.
