#WolvesKitLAUNCH recognised at annual event
Wolves are delighted to have been shortlisted at the Football Business Awards for The Best Marketing Initiative (Non-Premier League) for the third consecutive season.
This year the Club are being recognised for the innovative and highly successful #WolvesKitLAUNCH campaign where we literally launched the new kit by sending a home shirt into space. We then followed this up with a Facebook Live ‘treasure hunt’ where fans could win the new shirt if they identified where in the city we were hiding it.
The campaign was a huge success in terms of the number of people that watched the videos and interacted with the campaign but also in terms of shirt sales where we have seen the highest levels of sales for a kit launch for a number of years.
Previously the Club have won the award twice, once for the My Wolves membership initiative and the 2015/16 #EnjoyTheRide season ticket campaign. Last year the Club came second in this category for the “Pass the Parcel” kit launch initiative.
We are shortlisted with Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Huddersfield Town, St Johnstone and Wycombe Wanderers and the winners will be announced on 2nd November 2017.
