Further Parking Available For Disabled Supporters

Wolves are trying to alleviate some of the issues experienced by disabled supporters with the new spectator safety measures introduced on a matchday.

For tomorrow’s game with Preston (kick off 3pm), The Wanderer Car Park will be trialled for use by blue badge holders.

Availability is on a first come first served basis at a cost of £5 booked through the Ticket Office on 0871 222 1877.

The Ticket Office opens at 9am tomorrow (Saturday).

Supporters will need to provide their blue badge serial number to register for a pass, and the blue badge would then need to be displayed alongside the pass on the day.

Also please note that as access is via Molineux Street, vehicles will need to be in place prior to the road closure being implemented one hour before kick-off.

In addition to this, blue badge holders will still be permitted to park on the double yellow lines in North Road, Red Hill Street and Oxley Street.

Wolves already have a separate parking allocation for disabled supporters in line with current recommendations but have been in discussions with the club’s Disabled Supporters Association to try and improve arrangements for those disabled supporters who do not have one of the allocated spaces.

Dennis Green, from Wolves DSA, says: “This is a good example of the Wolves DSA working in partnership with the club to achieve this measure for Wolves disabled supporters.”
