Working With Wolves Documentary

Wolves are to offer Sky Sports unprecedented behind-the-scenes prior to and during Saturday’s friendly with Leicester City.

With Wolves now a year into Fosun’s ownership, and heading into the Sky Sports Championship season under a new coach in Nuno Espírito Santo, these are exciting times at Molineux.

And so, the Sky Sports cameras will be allowed in to the Compton Park training complex in the build-up to Saturday’s game, followed by behind-the-scenes access for the match itself, the final preparation before the new league campaign.

“Sky Sports approached us at the start of the summer with the idea of coming in to shoot a documentary with the aim of capturing the essence of the club,” says Wolves Managing Director Laurie Dalrymple.

“With all the changes that have taken place, and indeed all the anticipation and excitement around Molineux and Compton Park at the moment, it was a request which we were delighted to agree to.

“We will be giving Sky Sports access which is not usually seen by supporters, and hopefully their footage will give our fans and the football world in general a good idea of how we operate, on and off the pitch.

“It all culminates with Saturday’s visit of the 2016 Premier League champions Leicester City, when we hope a big crowd will be at Molineux to witness Nuno’s first home game in charge.

“There is the potential for a really interesting and insightful documentary looking at so many different aspects involved with a football club, and we will all be looking forward to viewing the results!”

Johnny Phillips from Sky Sports will be producing the ‘Working with Wolves’ documentary which will be shown on the Sky Sports Football channel on four occasions – August 4th (10.15pm), August 5th (10.30am & 7.45pm) and August 6th (8.30pm).
