Herc joins MFK Karvina on loan

Wolves midfielder Christian Herc has joined Czech First League MFK Karvina on a one-year loan after being recalled from fellow Czech outfit Viktoria Plzen.

Herc spent the last 12 months on loan at Plzen, making three appearances as the side finished runners-up in the league championship, earning a spot in Champions League qualifying.

The Slovakian also featured several times for Plzen’s ‘B’ team in the Ceska Fotbalova Liga, scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 victory against TJ Jiskra Domazlice.

Coming through the Wolves Academy, Herc was a key performer for the under-23s in the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons, scoring nine goals in 37 matches – including three goals in four EFL Trophy ties, earning an 18-month loan move to FC DAC 1904 Dunajska Streda.

During his time back in his home country, the 21-year-old made 50 appearances, scoring six times, as well as providing two of his six assists for DAC in the Europa League qualifying stages.

Everyone at Wolves would like to wish Christian the best of luck during his time in Karvina.
