Versatile defender Dominic Iorfa emerged through the Wolves Academy after joining the club from hometown Southend at the age of 15.

The pacey defender impressed at Under-18 and Under-21 levels and then enjoyed a first taste of senior football making seven appearances on loan with Shrewsbury Town at the end of the 2013/14 season.

Iorfa was in and around the first team squad at Wolves from the following pre-season and was then handed his debut against Bournemouth in November, 2014.

He made an impressive impact in his breakthrough season, making 22 appearances in total and being named the Football League Young Player of the Year for January, 2015.

Iorfa also followed up previous England Under-18 and Under-20 recognition by representing the Under-20s in the summer Toulon tournament.

Iorfa continued his progress in the 2015/16 season, being Wolves most-used outfield player with 46 appearances in all competitions.

His England experiences continued, including a day training with the senior team whilst on Under-21 duty, and playing a key role as the Under-21s won the end of season tournament in Toulon.
