Wolves’ 2025/26 Premier League fixture schedule

Wolves will kick off their 2025/26 Premier League campaign at Molineux as Vitor Pereira’s side take on Manchester City in their opening fixture.

It will only be the second time in the last eight seasons that Wolves have started a Premier League season at home, with the game also seeing Rayan Ait-Nouri make an immediate return to the club after he joined Man City earlier this month.

The Molineux meet-up with City is set to take place at 5.30pm on Saturday 16th August, with the game broadcast live on Sky Sports, before Wolves travel to AFC Bournemouth the following weekend for their first away game of the season.

After the midweek Carabao Cup second round, Wolves will then host Everton in the third Premier League outing of the new campaign, followed by an away visit to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle United before a game at home against Championship champions Leeds United and a trip to Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur round out September.

As supporters begin to plan their year around the fixture calendar, fans will be keeping a close eye on some of the key matches Pereira’s side will face in the coming year.

Over on the Wolves App this week, supporters have also been voting for which teams they would like to see the Old Gold face on the opening day, Boxing Day and the final day of the season, with 19.71% of fans selecting Sunderland for their ideal first game, while 16.81% of supporters also chose the Black Cats as their ideal final game.

However, second place in the final day vote went to Burnley, and that is where Wolves are due to bring their campaign to a close, as they take a trip to Lancashire to face the newly-promoted Clarets on Sunday 24th May.

Almost half of the supporters’ votes on the Wolves App (42.41%) hoped for a Boxing Day fixture against Aston Villa, but the first West Midlands derby of the season is set to take place during the weekend of 29th November at Villa Park.

Wolves will then host Nottingham Forest and Manchester United in successive home games, which brings former Old Gold forward Matheus Cunha back to Molineux on the weekend of the 6th December.

The Christmas period will see Wolves head to Liverpool for a Boxing Day game at Anfield currently scheduled for Saturday 27th December, before staying in the north west to round out the calendar year, with a second match against Man United during the final month of 2025, this time at Old Trafford.

Other notable dates in the calendar include the first visit to Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium in the first midweek match of 2026, while the first Premier League meeting with newly-promoted Sunderland since 2012 will not take place until the weekend of 18th October, with Wolves due to travel to the Stadium of Light.

The season will finish in May with away matches against Brighton & Hove Albion and Burnley, as well as home fixtures versus Sunderland and Fulham, with Wolves’ final home game of the campaign against the Cottagers set to be played on Sunday 17th May – the day after the FA Cup final.
