Four lifelong Wolves supporters were surprised at Molineux by vice president John Richards and gifted season tickets for the 2026/27 season.
The supporters, all recognised for decades of unwavering dedication to Wolves and their fellow fans, were invited to Molineux under the impression they were taking part in filming connected to the club’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
However, after being asked to revisit their seats inside the stadium as part of the filming, each supporter was met by club legend Richards, who personally thanked them for their incredible commitment before presenting them with the surprise gift.
Among those recognised was 60-year-old Nick Evers, a Wolverhampton resident who organises tickets and travel for the Hatherton Wolves Supporters Club and has long followed Wolves from his seat in the Stan Cullis Stand.
Also surprised were Barrie and Marlene Hitchcroft from Wombourne, aged 86 and 82 respectively, who continue to travel to away matches across the country together while holding season tickets in the Billy Wright Centre.
The final supporter recognised was 79-year-old Peter Woodifield from Kent, who has led ticketing and travel arrangements for the London Wolves Supporters Club for more than 30 years and watches matches from the Billy Wright Wing.
Richards said: “Supporters like Nick, Barrie, Marlene and Peter are the heartbeat of this football club.
“Their loyalty, passion and commitment to Wolves over so many years is truly remarkable, and it was a privilege to be able to thank them on behalf of everybody connected to the club.
“You hear so many stories about the sacrifices supporters make to follow Wolves home and away, and these four epitomise that dedication.”

Supporters can renew their season tickets for the 2026/27 campaign before midnight tonight, Friday 29th May, before any seats not renewed are made available to new season ticket holders.
