Wolves start their 2025/26 FA Cup campaign at home to Shrewsbury Town with the third round tie taking place on Saturday lunchtime.

For the thousands of supporters who will be attending the 12.15pm kick-off, here is everything you need to know ahead of travelling to Molineux…

Key matchday information

With icy conditions and potential snowfall expected across the West Midlands in the run up to Saturday, we strongly advise all supporters attending to allow extra time when making their way to Molineux and to also take extra care when travelling around the ground.

Tickets

Remaining tickets for this fixture are available on general sale (to supporters who have registered an account prior to 8th December 2025) and can be purchased through the ticketing website or by calling the ticket office on 0371 222 1877.

Season ticket holders who purchased their reserved seats must use their smartcard at the turnstiles.

All other tickets for this fixture have been sent as Print at Home tickets to supporter’s linked email address. If these have not been received, contact Fan Services on fanservices@wolves.co.uk.

Print at home tickets can also be displayed on a mobile device by scanning the QR code at the turnstiles.

For any ticket issues on the day, visit the ticket office before kick-off.

Matchday WhatsApp channel

The club has recently launched the Wolves Matchday WhatsApp Channel for important matchday updates, which can be found by clicking here.

Supporters are recommended to follow this channel for key matchday updates and turning on notifications to receive timely alerts.

Kits

Wolves will be wearing our 2025/26 old gold and black home shirt, with the black shorts. The goalkeeper will be wearing the black goalkeeper shirt, and black shorts.

Shrewsbury Town will be wearing their pink away shirt, with the pink shorts. The goalkeeper will be wearing the green goalkeeper shirt, and green shorts.

Weather forecast

Partly sunny weather is forecast at Molineux on Saturday afternoon, with temperatures expected to be around two degrees Celsius at the time of kick-off.

Travel advice and reported disruption

There’s not been any reported disruption across public transport networks or any of the roads surrounding Wolverhampton and Molineux for this fixture.

However, roads leading to Molineux are still expected to have ice overnight, so we recommend taking extra care and allowing extra time than normal to get to the stadium.  

Bag policy

Due to a rise in related issues, supporters are reminded that any bag larger than A4 size will not be permitted at Molineux on matchdays.

For the avoidance of doubt, we strongly recommend not bringing a bag unless absolutely necessary. There are also no storage facilities available for bags at Molineux.

Should you have a medical condition that requires you to bring items in a bag that is above the standard A4 size, we kindly request you to make a formal application for a medical exemption certificate via the Fan Services team at fanservices@wolves.co.uk.

Entering the stadium

Supporters must enter via the turnstile block shown on their ticket or smartcard.

Security checks, including bag searches, will take place at the turnstiles. Bags larger than A4 are not permitted, and fans may be asked to open their own bags. All supporters aged 14 and over will be searched by a steward.

Molineux Fan Zone

The Molineux Fan Zone will be closed on Saturday due to the inclement weather which has been affecting the area.

North Bank Bar

The North Bank Bar, next to Block ND of the Stan Cullis Stand, opens from 10.15am on Saturday morning for season ticket holders and members, and again for an hour following the final whistle.

Entry is subject to capacity, and junior supporters are welcome.

Food and drink

Concourse catering kiosks will be open inside the stadium for this fixture serving food hot and cold drinks and alcoholic drinks.

Ticket office

The ticket office is located between the Stan Cullis and Billy Wright Stands and will be open for in-person visits from 9am until just after kick-off.

Their phone lines (0371 222 1877) will be open from 9am and will close at 10.15am.

Molineux Megastore

Molineux Megastore is located in the Stan Cullis Stand and will be open from 9am up until kick-off. Following full-time, the Megastore will re-open until 5pm.

Fan Services

Fan Services will be available from 9am on matchday by phone (01902 810 485, until 10.15am) and email (fanservices@wolves.co.uk, until kick-off).

For updates and support, visit x.com/wolveshelp, where DMs will also be monitored up until kick-off.

Matchday programme

The official Wolves matchday programme for 2025/26 will be available to purchase outside Molineux before every match this season, with a 52-page edition focusing on the FA Cup third round clash.

As Wolves welcome Shrewsbury to Molineux, the programme will include the latest comments from Rob Edwards, Yerson Mosquera and Hugo Bueno, as well as the news from the Wolves Women camp after their start to the new year was delayed last weekend.

There is also focus on the Academy, as well as a look at Shrewsbury's history in the FA Cup, as well as previous meetings between Shrews and Wolves in the historic competition, while looking at the key visiting players who could take to the Molineux pitch on Saturday afternoon.

All this and much more, including a look at the best Wolves/Shrews moments from history and a preview of what the visitors are expected to bring to Molineux, is all available in the official matchday programme.

Programmes, priced at £4, are available to buy by from the Molineux Megastore, from the various programme sellers around the stadium and from the catering kiosks. Supporters not attending the fixture can purchase online through programme retailers Curtis Sports.

Wolves Museum & 1877 Sports Bar

Wolves Museum is not open for general admission on match days, due to the exclusive 1877 Sports Bar package running pre and post-match within the museum.

The 1877 Sports Bar package is available for all matchdays, but must be pre-booked. Walk in entry is not available for the 1877 Sports Bar.

Travelling to Molineux

With high matchday traffic, we ask supporters to consider eco-friendly travel options such as public transport to help reduce congestion and parking issues around Molineux.

Parking

Supporters can check availability for official matchday parking and book spaces here. Details of further council owned car parks in the city can be found here.

Road closures

Matchday road closures will be in place for supporter safety. These are as follows:

  • Waterloo Road | closed 90 mins before kick-off until 15-30 mins after full-time
  • Molineux Street & Sir Jack Hayward Way | closed one hour before kick-off
  • Whitmore Hill | closed 30 mins before kick-off

Car parks will remain closed until cleared under the discretion of the matchday safety officer.

Reporting incidents

Disabled supporters

The Century Lounge will be open for this fixture, offering an accessible space with seating and toilets for disabled supporters. Located in the lower Stan Cullis Stand opposite NL1, but wheelchairs cannot be stored there during the match. For information, email fanservices@wolves.co.uk.

Audio Description Commentary is available for fans who need live, detailed game updates. Pre-book by emailing Fan Services and headsets will be delivered to your seat. Available to both home and away supporters.

Disabled liaison stewards, in dark blue jackets, are on hand to help, with trained staff at wheelchair areas in all stands.

Away Supporters

Away supporters are located in the Steve Bull Stand lower tier for this fixture, and can enter the ground via turnstile block 3.

Leaving Molineux

After the final whistle, roads around Molineux become heavily congested. Walking routes to the city centre are available.

Official car parks reopen 10-20 minutes after the game, subject to the Matchday Safety Officer’s discretion.

Friendly stewards will be present to assist supporters as they leave.
