Wolves Express | Reflecting on a point at Old Trafford

As Wolves claimed a point from Manchester United on Tuesday night, Wolves Express looks back over the final game of 2025 with Rob Edwards, Ladislav Krejci and Jhon Arias.

Head coach Edwards is up first, as he reveals how Wolves' pre-match plans were changed at the last minute due to Santi Bueno's absence, which made him re-jig the side and have players out of their usual positions.

The head coach also discusses Mateus Mane's performance after the forward dropped into midfield and reiterated the importance of replicating Tuesday night's away performance at home, with the group hoping to get the new year off to the best start possible against West Ham United at Molineux on Saturday.

Wolves' goalscorer at Old Trafford was Krejci, with the defender finding the net with a header just before the break, and he believes the performance and point will give the team a base to build on going into 2026.

Krejci also praises the impact of the Wolves fans who made the journey to Manchester on Tuesday and expresses his pleasure at the character and the belief the players showed to get the point they deserved.

Finally, Jhon Arias, another of Edwards' forwards who was tasked with playing out of position against United as he slotted into midfield, shares his thoughts on a first point since October, giving praise to the Old Gold supporters and sharing his delight in helping the team to a positive end to 2025 on the road.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
