Mercurial winger, Bakary Sako was brought to Wolves from French side Saint-Etienne in August 2012 by former manager Ståle Solbakken.
He signed a three-year deal with the club, and made an immediate impact, scoring on his debut against Northampton Town in a Capital One Cup tie and then again on his league debut at Cardiff.
His goalscoring form continued in the first half of his debut season, with memorable winning goals against both Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday counting among the seven strikes he registered before the turn of the year.
Internationally, Sako, born in Paris but of Malian descent, played for Mali’s under-17 team before switching allegiances to France, with whom he has been capped ten times at under-21 level.
