New Levy sustainability initiative supports Wolves Foundation

Wolves’ hospitality partners Levy are extending their support of Wolves Foundation and contributing to the club’s ‘One Pack One Planet’ campaign by making a donation from the sale of reusable cups on a matchday.

From Saturday night’s visit of Premier League title-chasers Arsenal, drinks at Molineux will be sold in reusable cups marked ‘One Planet, One Chance’, helping reduce unnecessary plastic waste used on a matchday and contributing to Wolves’ focus on reducing their carbon footprint.

In conjunction with this, and in keeping with Levy’s approach at other stadia, they will be donating 10 pence from every sale made in one of the reusable cups to Wolves Foundation.

“This is a really important and valuable initiative from our friends at Levy which is supporting both the club and the Foundation in two different areas,” says Wolves Foundation senior manager Tom Warren.

“The introduction of reusable cups in the matchday catering kiosks is a hugely welcome development and helps the club’s ‘One Pack One Planet’ campaign and commitment to environmental stability.

“On top of that, the donation from each sale involving a reusable cup is set to bring in a substantial figure each season which will be invested directly into Foundation projects supporting people of all ages and abilities across the community.

“This is the latest development from a partnership with Levy which has already seen them play a key part in the Feed Our Pack project and the allotment being cultivated by our Head 4 Health participants which has also provided food in hospitality areas on a matchday.

“This relationship is continuing with initiatives such as this one from Levy being part of the Supporting Our Pack campaign, with funds raised being used to help people within the community who are vulnerable or in need of support.

“We are delighted to continue to work so closely with Levy and are hugely appreciative of the support we will receive from this new initiative.”
