Wolves Weekly | How to handle a Black Country derby with Stearman and McNamara

Richard Stearman and Dan McNamara join Mikey Burrows in the latest episode of Wolves Weekly as the pair discuss the goings on at Molineux, including upcoming Black Country derbies for both the men's and women's first-teams.

Former defender Stearman and Wolves Women manager McNamara discuss the positive atmosphere which is currently being spread across the club thanks to recent results for all Old Gold teams.

The pair also chat about the key talking points from Wolves' FA Cup replay victory over Brentford on Tuesday night, which saw Gary O'Neil's men secure their place in the fourth round and a trip to Black Country rivals West Bromwich Albion.

The men's first-team aren't the only side set for a meeting with the Baggies, with McNamara's women's first-team also set to face their rivals in the Birmingham Challenge Cup. The fixture was due to be played on Sunday, but has since been postponed due to illness in the Wolves camp.

There is also discussion on why the club shouldn't put too much pressure on young striker Nathan Fraser to be the 'next Steve Bull' after the academy striker netted his second goal in three senior appearances with a vital finish in the replay earlier this week.

Wolves Weekly is available to listen to on all podcast providers. There is also a host of official and exclusive gold and black content to be found on Wolves Radio, including Matchday Live Extra and Wolves Express.
