Perceptions of Welsh football have changed after a summer of unprecedented success, and the transformation is embodied by manager Chris Coleman, who will be telling his story at the next Molineux dinner, taking place on Thursday, March 2nd.
After failing to recover from breaking a leg in a car crash, ending a 15 year playing spell totalling 657 appearances for four different clubs, Coleman moved into management with Fulham, becoming the youngest manager in the Barclays Premier League.
Coleman’s philosophy and introduction of a 3-5-1-1 system resulted in a personal accolade of being shortlisted for FIFA’s Men’s Coach of 2016 and Wales securing qualification for their first major tournament since 1958.
Drawn alongside Russia, Slovakia and England at Euro 2016, hear from Chris how Wales didn’t travel to France simply to make up the numbers, and enjoyed a superb tournament which will live long in the memory.
This is a night not to be missed, ONLY Silver tables remaining – this includes an individual place on a shared table, a two course meal, tea and coffee, event programme and a comedian. Cost is £75.00 per person.
