Here is part two of our interview with Wolves and England legend Ron Flowers, marking 50 years this summer since England won the 1966 World Cup.
Ron was part of the squad of 22 during the tournament, and while he didn’t manage to get any game time, he wasn’t far off, when Jack Charlton picked up an illness the night before the final against West Germany.
That features in the second part of this Wolves Player interview, including why he felt England always had a good chance of winning the tournament, and how he ended up celebrating on the bench at the final whistle.
