Biography

Nathan Fraser was promoted to the Wolves first-team squad in September 2023, having been rewarded for his hard work and outstanding performances as he progressed through the club's academy.

The striker has tirelessly led the line for the under-21s throughout the 2022/23 season having first signed for Wolves as a seven-year-old.

He was first spotted playing for local grassroots club Trysull Tigers as a young child and rose through the academy ranks at Compton Park.

Fraser signed his first professional contract with the Old Gold in February 2022 and played a key role for the under-18s, scoring goals in both the league and also FA Youth Cup, which saw Wolves reach the semi-finals of the competition.

After getting his taste of under-21s action in the 2021/22 season, Fraser permanently made the step up to James Collins’ side last term and scored seven goals as the youngsters secured their Premier League 2 status.

This summer, Fraser scored four goals in four games as Wolves under-19s lifted the Premier League’s Next Generation Cup in India, collecting silverware from the post-season tournament to ensure the campaign ended on a high.

After training regularly with Gary O'Neil's first-team squad, and being a key part of the side during pre-season, Fraser was given his senior debut in August 2023, coming off the bench at Molineux to claim his first goal and an assist for the first-team in a 5-0 demolition of Blackpool in the Carabao Cup.
