Toussaint was the hero of the last round as her late header secured victory at Championship Reading, but the Old Gold face an even tougher test this time around as Super League outfit Brighton travel to the New Bucks Head. Attacker Toussaint has spoken on her memories of the previous round, the mentality going into Sunday and having the home advantage.
On the last round
“Last time out in the FA Cup it was very enjoyable day for us all as a team and even more so for me. I was happy to get the winner so late on in the game.
“I think you could see by the team reaction and my reaction that it was such an enjoyable moment and adrenaline got the better of me – I think I ran half the pitch with my celebrations, but it was good to get the win and get into the next round.”
On her celebration at Reading
“I seem to have a habit of doing that so I think I actually need to slow down more and think of something else to do!
“In the moment when you score a goal, the adrenaline is high and you’re so buzzing and emotional you’ve kind of just got to go with what comes.”
On the overall performance against Reading
“Overall, our performance was very good. We’ve looked back at it and everyone played well, we started strong and we had two very strong halves.
“All in all, I think we deserved to win the game.”

On the mentality going into Brighton
“Lots of confidence and we go in with no fear. As we say sometimes, it’s almost a free hit at the game.
“We’re going to go in with loads of confidence from the last round and see what we can do in the next round.
“It’s really exciting to everyone so we’re just going to train hard this week and see what happens on the day.”
On facing WSL opposition
“It’s going to be a test for us, it’s going to be a test for everyone. Everyone wants to play against the bigger teams and hopefully we can go out there on Sunday and make a good account of ourselves.
“We can see what we can achieve, where we want to be and where we aim to be in the future.”
On getting lots of support at Telford
“I’m hoping so. Our fans have been great this season and it always helps when you’ve got a good fanbase behind you.
“I’m hoping we get a lot in for the game and everyone can get there and get behind the girls for hopefully what’s going to be a good occasion.”
On a break from the league
“We’re not where we want to be in the league, that’s obvious. We’ve had a few results that haven’t gone our way, but this is football and it happens.
“You can only control the next games that are coming up and hopefully we can go out, put in a performance against a good Brighton side and hopefully that can give us some confidence to get back to winning ways in the league.”
