Dan McNamara’s side return to league action at the New Bucks Head following last Sunday’s 7-0 triumph over Peterborough United which secured a place in the third round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, where a trip to Hull City next Sunday awaits.
The goals have been flowing for the Old Gold, who have scored 19 goals in their last three games in all competitions.
Wolves are back in league action for the first time since early November where Nottingham Forest ran out 2-0 winners, so the team will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Northern Premier Division.
They come up against a Halifax side who currently sit ninth in the table, having played just six league games so far this season.
Rob Mitchell’s side have won two, drawn two and lost two of those six encounters, with the latest being a 2-2 draw at Fylde last time out.
Three points for Wolves could close the game further on the top two, Burnley and Newcastle United, depending on other results with 10 of the 12 teams in action on Sunday.

WHAT THE GAFFER SAID
“They’re a tough outfit. Rob will have them playing really well with good structure, so we’ll need to work hard this week to make sure we’re prepared.
“If we want to go on and achieve some of the things and push the top of the table, we’ve got to make sure we’re getting six from six.”
