Wolves Women preparing for top two clash

The top two collide on Sunday afternoon, as Wolves Women entertain Nottingham Forest Women at the New Bucks Head.

The old gold can close the gap, currently standing at six points, on the leaders to just three with victory, although Dan McNamara’s side have a game in hand.

Earlier in the season, it was Wolves who got the better of Forest on the road, as goals from Maz Gauntlett, Amber Hughes (2) and Katie Johnson secured a 4-2 victory.

Wolves season ticket holders can gain FREE entry into the game on production of their season card at the turnstile.

Adult tickets are priced at £4, while concessions and students can enter for £3 with junior tickets costing just £1.

“We’re taking this season game-by-game and this is a massive game for Forest and a massive game for us,” manager McNamara said.

“They’ve taken control of this league now and everybody’s trying to catch them. They’ve got a great side and we’ll try and come up with a game plan this week to try and stop them with how good they are going forward. We look forward to it but it’s just another game for us and we’ve got to start getting some wins and some points on the board in 2023.”
