Manager Dan McNamara has ranked the tie right up there with the best the old gold have competed in and is urging supporters to help break that 1,000 barrier at the New Bucks Head.

“It’s an amazing tie for the football club and everyone involved. It will be one of the highlights and up there with some of the best things we’ve achieved.

“Five years ago, I dreamt of putting us in front of thousands of fans, WSL opposition and the best in the country. West Ham are up there with that, they’re in the top five of the WSL at the minute and they’ve done things that we want to emulate.

“The fanbase at Telford has been slowly growing over the last six months and we’ve had some outstanding attendances. We’ve just fallen short of that 1,000 mark, so it would be great if we could do it against West Ham.

“It’s going to be a great occasion and a real celebratory environment, but it’s a game we want to go into showing we can compete. We’re trying to prove that we’re stepping in the right direction and hopefully there will be a lot of fans down there to watch us do that.”
