Highly-Rated Norwegian Joins Wolves

Wolves are delighted to announce the signing of highly rated Norway-youth international John Kitolano on a three year deal.

The 18 year old Congolese-Norwegian joins Wolves from Odds Ballklubb who play their football in the Eliteserien, the top tier of football in Norway.

The teenager made his professional debut at the age of 16 in the Eliteserien and has made over 10 first team appearances, including two appearances in the Europa League qualifying rounds.

Kitolano operates as a left back and will link up with Rob Edwards’ Under 23s squad ahead of the start of the Premier League 2 campaign on Saturday.

Wolves sporting director Kevin Thelwell said, “John is a young player who we have admired since he made his professional debut at the age of 16.

“Since the club’s promotion to the Premier League, it will therefore be an even bigger task to bring young players through from the academy and into the first team.

“John is a player who we feel has that potential and I’m looking forward to seeing how he progresses in the coming months.”

Wolves Under 23s kick off their season with a trip to the Madjeski Stadium on Saturday (1pm) to face Reading.
