Wolves under-21s face their third away game on the trot as they travel to Liverpool on Sunday.
Please note, due to Premier League broadcasting restrictions, Sunday afternoon’s Premier League 2 fixture with Liverpool will not be live streamed.
James Collins’ side face the Reds in a Premier League 2 encounter following action in the EFL Trophy and PL Cup in their last two outings.
The youngsters are on a three-game unbeaten run in all competitions having picked up victories in PL2 and the EFL Trophy, before Tuesday evening’s 2-2 draw at Norwich City in the PL Cup.
There were positive signs from the midweek outing in Norfolk, as Ethan McLeod and Leon Chiwome both hit the back of the net for the first time this season – the latter was back in action following a period on the sidelines through injury.
Meanwhile, Liverpool were in EFL Trophy action in the week and were successful in their mission at Morecambe, running out 3-0 winners away from home.
Mateusz Musialowski, Calum Scanlon and Bobby Clark were all on target for the Reds who scored three first half goals at the Mazuma Stadium.
In the league, Barry Lewtas’ side have picked up two wins, a draw and a defeat from their four outings so far and sit ninth in the PL2 table.
