Free bus travel for season ticket holders

Once again this summer, Wolves have linked up with Transport for West Midlands to provide Old Gold supporters with a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly form of transport around the local area.

For the second season running, season ticket holders living within a 15km radio of Molineux can now take advantage of a new West Midlands Bus Scheme, which will provide free bus travel around the West Midlands this August.

All season ticket holders aged 16 or older are eligible, with the aim of changing local travel habits, and this has been enabled by TfWM and the Department for Transport.

Through the scheme, which is funded by UK Government, supporters will be able to travel on any bus in the West Midlands bus network for free, during the four-week period.

The scheme will guarantee season ticket holders with free bus travel to the club’s opening match of the Premier League season against Manchester City on Saturday 16th August, with all information having now been sent via email.

This is Wolves’ latest One Pack, One Planet activation, which highlights the club’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, with more information available here.

The West Midlands Bus Scheme is available thanks to TfWM, who are working with the Department for Transport, local authorities and local bus operators to get the region moving.
