Sean Neave cut a shellshocked figure pitchside at Ashton Gate, after his first professional goals secured Wolves a dramatic, late win.
The youngster came off the bench to score twice in the final ten minutes to turn a pending 1-0 defeat into a crucial 2-1 win which lifts the Old Gold up to second in the Championship.
Having celebrated with a jubilant away end, Neave spoke to Wolves TV to sum up his emotions after his first goals in senior football proved so vital and helps built the positive momentum further for the Old Gold.
On summing up his emotions
“I’m just in shock. My main aim when I came on was just to get involved in the game, make an impact and do what I could for the team. To come on and get two goals, it means a lot, especially in a game where we were losing and we’ve managed to turn it around and win 2-1. I’m still in shock, really. I haven’t got any words.
“It means a lot. You saw the fans’ reaction when we went 2-1 up. They just want to get back to the Premier League, and that’s what I want too. To get those two goals and the three points means so much. Those three points could mean so much at the end of the season. There’s a lot of football left to play, but it means a lot."

On the crucial moments
“The first I was just running towards the ball, really, just trying to get there and smash it in. Before the game, the coaches were saying that their goalkeeper sometimes drops the ball and spills shots. So as soon as Adam took the shot, I was following it in just in case he spilled it. And luckily, I was there.
“Then I saw Krejci jumping up, and I thought, ‘Yeah, he’s going to win that.’ So, I just made my run into the middle and headed it home. I couldn’t get anything else on it, but I’d take it.
“I got stuck in the net for a second, trying to get out. Then all the adrenaline came out. It was just elation, right in front of the fans, and you’ve got them singing. It means a lot. We’ve done that for our fans and for the club. To score two goals and have the fans singing your name, there’s nothing better in football.”

On crucial experiences
“My main aim in coming on loan was just to get minutes, really. To come on and do that means so much for my development and my professional football career. The lads around me have been a massive part of that and helped me get to where I am.”
On a huge win for the team
“It could mean so much. It’s going to be tight at the end of the season. We want to get to the Premier League, and we want to get promotion. So those three points could mean so much at the end of the season."
