Head coach Cesar Peixoto has now called for consistency, after Wolves found their feet in the Championship in recent weeks to finish October strongly.
The Old Gold have taken ten points from the last 12 available and begin November by heading to Bristol City with back-to-back victories to their name, both at Molineux against Watford and Cardiff City last weekend.
The head coach was able to make changes in the second half against the Bluebirds to preserve legs ahead of two away games in four days, and Peixoto is now focused on the task in hand – a tough trip to Bristol City where the aim is three successive wins.
On the need for consistency now
“It’s important. We’ve won two games in a row, but we also haven’t lost in four games. In the last four games, we’ve had three wins and one draw – that’s consistency. I know what the team needs and I know the Championship is long.
“Like I always say, I don’t get too angry when we don’t win. Sometimes I get frustrated when the team doesn’t play like I want, but I don’t stay like that. On Saturday we won 3-0, it’s a good victory, but I’m not thinking everything is OK because it’s not.
“We have to keep the players humble, find the right plan, recover them as quickly as possible, then go again and try to win the next game. We won away at Burnley, and then we drew at home. I want to try to win every game. It’s better to play at home, but I try to win all of the games. We have to maintain our focus on our big goal.”

On a tough test at Ashton Gate
“I think it’s going to be difficult, like all the games. Before I was focused on Cardiff and I look at things game by game. Of course, all the work was done with my technical staff and the club’s structure. But for me, it’s important to stay focused on the next game and give the players the right information and the right plan.
“For sure, it’s going to be difficult, but we’ll go there to try to win the three points. We have to analyse the team, look at which of our players are fit enough to play, consider their individual characteristics and the characteristics of the opposition. Then we have to find the right plan for the game and try to win again.”

On trying to keep his players fit
“It’s important. If the players are fresher and fitter, we’re in a better position to play the game and try to win. But that’s not the key thing, the key is to find the right plan for the game, choose the players and find the right balance in the team.
“Bristol won on Saturday and at their home they’ll have confidence to fight against us. Every team has a lot of motivation when they play against Wolves, and we have to stay at the same level of motivation and play our game to try to win.”
